This is not a book to be read from start to end and then you’ll know everything you need to know. No, this book is meant to be a companion on your trip: to be at your side every day when you need it.

The routes are the routes we have driven in September 2024 coming from Osh (Kyrgyzstan) in the direction of Dushanbe (Tajikistan). But of course it’s possible to do it the other way around. We listed the tracks & rated each one with our own criteria.
